About The School
The Christ Church Schools owe their name to the Christ Church Cathedral, where they made their humble beginning in the vestry of the Church on 1st June 1870.
Owing to the overgrowing pressure of admission in the Girls School, The Board of Education, Church of North India, Jabalpur Diocese took a historical decision to open a branch of Christ Church Girls' School in the city of Jabalpur. On 3rd April 2019, the ground breaking and laying of the foundation stone of the new Branch at Vijay Nagar was done by BECNIJD to Commemorate with the 175 years celebration of the Christ Church Cathedral and the 150 years of existence of the Christ Church School in Jabalpur M.P..
The Aim of the School
The School aims at building "Students of Competence, Conscience, Compassion and Commitment".
In other words, the School aims at the wholesome development of the child's personality based on Christian Values, besides building an excellent foundation in academics and extramural attainments. The School believes in simplicity and spiritualism which are embedded deeply in the Indian Culture and at the same time is also caters to the competitive spirit of modern society.
The School is of the opinion that morality is the foundation of a purposeful life and so strives to instill moral values in children that will help them grow up to be sensitive to the needs of others, respect for the environment, develop aesthetic sence, confidence in themselves and a balanced personality. Engaging all students in partnership with family and community to become informed, compassionate, global citizens.
